New training program connects people and processes
In May 2025, we launched a new training project co-financed by the European Union. Thanks to this project, employees across positions and departments are expanding their knowledge of the entire order flow. From order placement to shipment.
The production of unique prototypes and specials, which no one else in Czechia has done yet, places high demands on the quality of communication and cooperation across the entire company. Stecomtra has therefore introduced regular training sessions that bring together employees from different departments and help them understand the entire production process. Professional training sessions are held both at desks and in production, with around thirty selected colleagues participating.
Every week, we devote eight hours to helping all employees better understand the flow of an order from its acquisition to its successful delivery to the customer. Welders, machinists, buyers, technologists, quality control specialists, and salespeople are all involved. The goal is for everyone to better understand what technologies the company uses, how individual processes work, and who is responsible for what. The company is responding to the growing demands of custom manufacturing.
"We need all employees to understand the context. Only then can we efficiently produce even technically complex orders," says Markéta Markelová, who is in charge of the training program. "After just a few weeks of training, concrete results are already being seen. I can see that internal communication has improved, problem solving has accelerated, and project thinking has been strengthened."
Stecomtra's management expects the project to contribute to increased production efficiency, competitiveness, and job retention in the region in the future.
